Allen Grimwood is a qualified geographer and planner with over 30 years experience in urban and rural areas as a consultant, a decision-maker, with local government and in research positions. Allen is a Registered Planner with the Planning Institute of Australia and a member of the American Planning Association. Allen was appointed to the NSW Far South Coast Committee of Regional Development Australia for the period 2015 to 2020 and a state appointment to the Southern Regional Planning Panel for the term 2009-2016.
Sustainability
Zenith Town Planning Pty Ltd adheres to the principles of sustainability and uses triple bottom line assessment methods to determine the environmental, social and economic outcomes of development. Heritage
Places of heritage significance provide a sense of connection to community and landscape. Heritage places contribute to streetscapes, character and belonging and express Australian identity and experience. Trading as A C Grimwood Heritage, Allen has extensive expertise in assessing heritage significance, forecasting the impacts of development on heritage values and assessing the condition of items and places. All work is carried out with reference to the Burra Charter which advocates a cautious approach to changes to the fabric, detail, finish or appearance of a heritage place.
